Reflections from 2025 and Christmas greetings from Allicon

Merry Christmas – from us at Allicon.

The year is drawing to a close, and the Christmas holidays are just around the corner. Before we wrap up 2025, we at Allicon would like to pause for a moment—to thank our customers and partners for the trust you have placed in us throughout the year. We would also like to share a few reflections on the key lessons from a year marked by rapid technological development and increasing demands for digital resilience.

The past year has confirmed several of the trends we have previously noted and highlighted in our newsletters. The need for control over one’s own infrastructure has continued to grow, while issues related to security and resilience have become increasingly central for property owners and businesses alike.

Cybersecurity starts with control of the property’s infrastructure

Over the past year, we have seen the discussion around digital infrastructure deepen. When the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) raised the question of who actually controls communications when the network goes silent, and when Netnod warned about vulnerabilities in Sweden’s digital infrastructure, the need for robust and controllable solutions became clear.

Major events such as Proptech Day and our discussions during Almedalen Week have highlighted that property owners are facing a critical choice—whether to act proactively or manage risks when it comes to digital infrastructure. Several insights from Visby stood out clearly: property owners must take control of their infrastructure, tenants are placing increasingly high demands on connectivity, and security is no longer limited to physical protection alone.

The future of real estate takes shape

Our collaborations throughout the year demonstrate how the properties of the future are being built, and our work with Robust Fiber proves that quality in foundational infrastructure is essential for long-term functionality.

Newsec has emphasized that future property management requires integrated digital infrastructure, and our discussions with commercial tenants confirm that the fiber-based property network has become a key factor in business competitiveness.

5G and automation

Our launch of a 5G testbed together with Ericsson has opened up new opportunities for private networks. At the same time, our participation in research initiatives at Lund University of Technology focusing on future communication systems and 6G demonstrates our long-term commitment.

In the latest issue of the industry magazine CCS News, we share our perspective on the Swedish 5G market, where new business models can be enabled through broader collaboration across the industry.

Insights from MWC in Barcelona showed that Agentic AI and advanced indoor solutions are developing rapidly, further driving our work with PropView. Over the year, we have continued to develop the platform and have seen steady interest from both existing and new customers.

The year in numbers

During the year, Allicon has had the privilege of welcoming many new customers. Our figures point to continued strong growth and high customer satisfaction among our existing clients. Knowing that our solutions create tangible value gives us the energy to continue building the infrastructure of the future for high-performance connectivity in buildings.

Thank you for the year

At Allicon, we look forward to continuing our work in the coming year, with a focus on security, robustness, and control—three fundamental pillars that are becoming increasingly important in a rapidly changing world.

Before then, we would like to extend our warmest thanks to all customers, partners, and industry colleagues who have contributed to dialogue, collaboration, and progress throughout the year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Allicon team!
