Victoriapassagen case study

Setting up a modern infrastructure in a classic area.

In central Gothenburg sits Victoriapassagen, a well established walking-district oasis with shops and cafés on street level and offices on the higher floors. Property owner Wallenstam spent two years transforming the adjoining area from a narrow backyard with parking lots to a pleasant, open and light plaza called Victoriagården.

When the renovation and reconstruction started, there was a clutter of broadband solutions available for the businesses in the area – ranging from ADSL and copper to 4G and fiber. The area had been built in different phases without a proper plan for digital infrastructure. Consequently, when demolition, preparations and reconstruction of the new premises began some broadband solutions were disrupted.

At this point, Wallenstam hired us to install a modern fiber network available for all tenants in the Victoria district. We built a solid and well documented fiber network with Robust Fiber standard. As a result, all tenants were moved to the new network and the renovation could then progress without risking their ongoing businesses.

That’s not all …
